In 1994 the citizens of Prince George, British Columbia,  decided to create a Greenway for the community.   The vision was a corridor that encompasses over 300 hectares of natural environment  containing 25 kms of multi use trail.  After many years of organizing and planning, they succeeded with the creation of the Cranbrook Hill Greenway.   The trails in the Greenway are used by runners, walkers, cyclists, skiers, horseback riders and other non motorised users.  For further background on the Greenway development see the History link.
